Cannons fired cannonballs and a special thing called a Stand of Grapes or a Grape Shot because it looked like grapes on a vine. It was more effective against Horses than a rifle and a regular Cannonball.
Students from Patrick Taylor and Haynes Academy attended the Battle of New Orleans at Chalmette Battlefield. The student iReports reported on events from the battlefield using digital photography, video, blogging, and Skype.
